What are the generic terms for the pre and post decimal point parts of a given currency?

generic
Tom L asked:

Decimal currencies tend to have two component parts to their monetary amounts.

For example:

Dollars and Cents
Pounds and Pence
Marks and Pfennigs (ok no longer in use but you get the idea)

My question is whether there are generic terms for these component parts?
